Is ‘Tick to subscribe to our email newsletter’ on the checkout double opt in?

    When someone clicks the Tick to subscribe to our email newsletter. checkbox at checkout (if enabled), is that double opt-in? Just thinking about GDPR implications.

    @dankuwp great question. This is something you would need to enable on your Mailchimp list specifically. When the customer checks the box, with this feature enabled, it will send the double opt in that you speak of.

    Hi @dankuwp, if someone clicks the “subscribe to our newsletter” checkbox option a double opt-in could trigger if that feature is enabled in Mailchimp.
