    First off this plugin has been awesome! It’s been a tremendous help, especially when trying to ship internationally.

    Now, to the point:
    I was wondering if tiered shipping was possible.
    – Shipping is usually counted by the weight and the dimensions but if my customers add more products I can usually fit the shipment in the same packaging and I don’t want them to have to pay for shipping of each individual product. How can I set up a system where it takes quantity into account as well?

    Thanks for the kind words and reaching out.

    What you’re asking for is one of the features of the premium version. With that version what you can do is define boxes you use to ship and then the plugin will use a volume calculation to fit items into those boxes. For this to work all weights and dimensions need to be entered in each product in your store.

    For example if you have a box defined as 4cm x 10cm x 10cm then the box has a volume of 400cm. Now if your item is 2cm x 10cm x 10cm then it takes up 200cm of space.

    If a user has a single item of that size in their cart the plugin will request a price quote from Canada Post for a 4cm x 10cm x 10cm box. Makes sense because even though the item doesn’t fill the box, it fits inside right?

    Now if a user adds a second of those items to their cart then the plugin will see that it can fit two of the items in the large box and still only request one price quote from Canada Post for a 4cm x 10cm x 10cm box.

    Now if a user adds a third of those items to their cart then the plugin will see that it’ll now require two boxes to ship everything. The plugin will reach out to Canada Post for the cost of both boxes and display the sum on the checkout.

    Does that all make sense? If it does and you want to give it a go with the premium version that’s great. If it doesn’t work out how you’d like I have no problem with refunds, or working with you to help troubleshoot any issues you might have.
