    Hello,
I’ve found most answers I needed in this forum (thank you), however, I’m still having issues when I test.

    1) I was required to set a “username” for registrations, however, I am not wanting to use the registration feature. I was getting a “The username can not be empty.” message, so I set the username to email address and got “Account registration successful. click here to login to your account.” However, again, I do not want folks paying for a membership to receive or see this at all. Can it be turned off? With registrations I did receive the admin email however, which I was not receiving previously.

    2) I have managed to eliminate the search feature in the drop down boxes with membership options, and put a header with $0 for the calculations at the top of each drop down group, which seems to work except the calculations are incorrect seemingly because different membership names have the same membership price. e.g. The first choice with $50 shows as $50 in calculations, the second shows as $49, and the third as $48. It works fine for the $40 options – they all show $40 in calculations.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Please ignore #2, I figured out what happened in the backend. My apologies.

    Hi @achieve1,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I am a bit confused about your requirement here. If you are not looking for a user registration form, you can start with a blank form and configure them as per your need.

Can you please explain your exact requirement to try to guide you?

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John

Thank you for your quick reply. I was confused as well. I have not used the user registration field within my form. However, under “Edit Form”>>User registration the
Username * is a required field. When I test my form using Sandbox with PayPal, I was getting an error message “the username cannot be empty”. Took me a while as I had not used that field. When I changed the required Username * field to email (a field I am using), the message “account registration successful. Click here to login to your account” appeared. I have since found and changed the message in that field, but it appears username is a required field to use Forminator? I’d like members to complete the form, checkout with PayPal, and receive an email or website confirmation that their form was successfully submitted. I have no requirement for user registration. Many thanks!

    Hi @achieve1

Could you export your form and share it here so we can take a closer look?

Hello. I’m a little confused as to how pastebin.com works but I posted and named it “agm”. Is that something you can see? Thanks

    Hi @achieve1,

Once you create a new paste, a unique URL will be generated to access the export. If you are not comfortable with this, can you please upload the export file to Google Drive or DropBox and share the URL to check this further?

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John

OK. Found a YouTube video explaining where the URL link can be found. Apparently it is the website URL, I thought Pastebin created a URL.

    Hi @achieve1

Thank you for sharing the form.

I’ve imported it to my test site to check it and I can confirm that this definitely is a “user registration” type of Form.

The only way it could happen is that you must have chosen the “Registration” option on “Choose a template” screen when creating the form:

I’m afraid that there’s no way to disable user registration options there now. The registration form is a very “special” type of form and it can’t be “converted” to a regular form.

You will need to re-create the form from scratch but starting with “Blank” template this time: create a new form in Forminator, select “Blank” on “Choose Template” popup and then re-build entire form.

    Kind regards,

    Hello Adam,

Thanks so much. I’ve rebuilt it so many times I can certainly do it again. I must have thought registration had another meaning when I started.

I really appreciate your help and persistence getting me through this.

Best customer support I’ve had in www.ads-software.com. Kudos to you and the team!
