I have installed WooCommerce for my website and i want to use it to showcase my products. I am not going to sell the products from my website (yet) but i want it as a sort of catalogue. Now i managed to do this with a plugin added to it.

Now the thing is i have over 15000 products, and i have managed to import them all with wp-all-import and that the WooCommerce pro plugin because i had all kinds of attributes and such. I have noticed now that the product page is extremely slow and i am not sure if this is because WooCommerce is not ready for this ammount of products.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and have a great day,

If you need only a catalog, you don’t need WooCommerce, you can just use a Custom Post Type for it, but of course, you can still use WooCommerce.

I have noticed now that the product page is extremely slow and i am not sure if this is because WooCommerce is not ready for this ammount of products.

Not related to the number of products, you can easy have more than 15k, we have cases with more than 100k of products.

But since you are using only for catalog, you should use cache for it, but it’s good you debug the queries on your website and check if have some random query on the products pages.
