Is Woocommerce required

    Hi,

    I’m using your great plugin on a Godaddy Managed WordPress plan. It came with woocommerce pre-installed and I noticed that some places, Paid Member Subscriptions is called a “woocommerce plugin”. My question is this:
    Can I remove woocommerce from my site and still have Paid Member Subscriptions working? Or does PMS need it?

    The reason I’m asking is that my PageSpeed is hurting from a call to stripe servers on every page load, and I think Woocommerce might be behind it, so I want to remove it, if I don’t need it, to improve pagespeed.

    Hi @mrcase,

    Yes, you can remove the WooCommerce plugin.

    The functionality of the Paid Member Subscriptions plugin does not depend on the WooCommerce plugin.
