Is WordPress a good option for an ebook?

Hi, I am new to www.ads-software.com. Currently I use wordpress.com to run a simple blog. I have a project in mind that would be a sort of online e-book. The homepage would have links leading to different sections of the ebook. Within those there would be subsections. Simply put there will be a lot of pages and sub-pages and sub-sub-pages. Is this within wordpress’s capabilities? It’s not really a blog nor the typical “business” website. (Recommendations on themes for this sort of thing would be helpful also)
