Is WordPress' jQuery watered down?

  • I wondered this because I had the dropkick.js plugin working fine when I referenced Google’s jQuery, but when I just referenced WordPress’ of the same version number, the plugin failed to work.

    I’m writing some themes and would like to utilize ‘wp_enqueue_script()’ but no if plugins don’t work if the Google library isn’t present.

    So, is WordPress’ jQuery library full version or is it a reduced copy?
    Any thoughts or comments about this matter?
