I haven’t done any extensive testing of that plugin’s compatibility with different versions of WP. It’s always seemed to work fine though — just install and activate with the default options and you should be good.

I’m on WP 3.5.1. The plugin has been installed and working for a year or so and now it tells users they have signed the petition, sends emails, but doesn’t register them in the database.

Hi Guys. I’m running a petition now and have over 250 signups in the last few days. Not sure everyone is getting added to the database but in my testing when I’m paying attention it seems to work. My confirmation level is only ~30% and since I’m sending email copies to politicians I have to require confirmations or shit will hit the fan if people just mod the message and use a bogus email address LOL… Interesting is that when I send re-confirmation emails the only bounce I get is from a spamblocked domain that requires clicking a link also. This is just kinda fun and I’m enjoying the game… but I figure if I’m getting bogus email addresses in the signups then I’d be getting bounces for unknown users from the confirmation send attempts so I assume everyone is real and getting their address right… strange ?? Just some random thoughts you might benefit from in the knowledge base ??
