Is wpsolr indexing images?

Hi!
As already wrote in the support-chat:
We want to integrate the wpsolr-search into the search from our homepage (made with solr)
There the results should be a mix from the homepage and wordpress, but we also want to show the image (or a thumbnail) of the wordpress-article on the results-site.
Is it possible to index the image itself, or the URL of the image in solr (via WPSOLR)?

Yes, it’s quite easy with our filter:
https://www.wpsolr.com/guide/actions-and-filters/index-modify-a-document/To add a field ‘post_thumbnail_image_src_str’ to your index, with your post thumbnail image link:
$solarium_document_for_update[ 'post_thumbnail_image_src_str' ] = wp_get_attachment_image_src( get_post_thumbnail_id( $post_id ) );
