is_home() or is_front_page() is displaying contents on paginations

Hello,
I want to display some widgets only on home page of my blog. I tried to use is_front_page() and is_home() but when I go to next page of my blog i.e. url.com/page/2/ it still display that widget. Any idea to get rid of it please?
