Islemag and Dreamweaver

I want to use the Islemag theme to create a static site in Dreamweaver. When I open the appropriate “index.php” file (highest up under MAMP > htdocs >wordpress, not in any subfolders) Dreamweave automatically opens all the dynamically related files and they are ALL .php files — no css files. I used the little filter icon to reset so all files would be opened but it does not change.

Also, my theme elements do not appear in the live view or in browser view. Here’s the hierarchy:
MAMP > htdocs > wordpress > wp-content > themes > NSUMC Islemag (NSUMC being my site name)

What am I doing wrong? Do I need to reload the theme? Does this theme not use .css? Suggestions?
