islidex doesn’t show up images

    Plugin iSlidex shows up Apple like slideshow of images used in posts.
    On my blog it does not show up any images in post or page. Instead, it shows a big grey field with in the left upper corner a little red cross and the title of the first post that contains an image.
    I use the tags [islidex_post] and [islidex_page]
    Any suggestions?

    Thank you very much again. You really help me! Now , after upgrade to version 1.5, even in IE, the slideshow runs well and returns to the first images but…
    the thumbnails at the bottom does not appear.

    Yeah IE gives some issues with the CSS (as usual hehe).
    We will fix that asap.

    I presume you are using <?php show_islidex ?> in the index.php of your theme?
    If so, did you set in your admin panel the right category from where you want iSlidex to take posts/slides from?
    Did you make sure there are posts in that category? And if so, did you upload at least 1 image inside those posts?

    You could also try directly <?php show_customislidex(93,3,450,200); ?> inside the code (93 is an example of category, 3 is an example for number of slides/posts to get, 450 and 200 the w-h dimensions.

    i have installed this plugin a couple day ago. it worked well for me except the size of the thumbnails of the slides. i decided to find new plugin and found frontpage slideshow. it is more suitable for me but it has some bugs while writing new post. it denies all other functions in new post screen so i decided to use islidex again. now it does not show images neither on slide nor on thumbs. what should i do?

    Please update the plugin to vers. 2.0 and let me know if you still have issues!

    i have upgraded the plugin but the category which i chose before is not in the list now :S. what could i do?

    This is highly unlikely.
    The category dropdown uses a standard WordPress fuction, so unless the category is empty, or non-existant, it should be visible.

    unfortunately my category is full as i use version 1.9.5, this category has sub categories. sub cat. are shown but main category is not listed

    But is that category filled with posts though?
    It doesnt matter if the subcategories have posts, if the main one doesnt have any, it might not show.

    Hi! i’ve successfully installed the plugin and it works great in chrome where as in ie7 i get an error, the thumbnails in apple theme appear vertical. please suggest. Thanks.
