    Hi,

Just downloaded the Jetpack CRM plugin to test on a local development site. I have added a custom field in the Company Custom Fields options but when I try to search for entries in my dummy companies inside the “Companies” – “View All” section, it doesn’t give me any results. It just ask if I want to add a new company because it couldn’t find any results.

I need to have a searchable field called “Company Number” if I’m to be able to use Jetpack CRM on a live site. This I have done above, but the custom field doesn’t seem to be searchable. Is it not possible to have any custom filed searchable, or is it only possible for the fields that comes with the plugin?

    Hi there, @johnnybravo69,

I tested that on my site, and I could search for companies by adding the content of a custom field (for example, “red”).

If I search for a company by putting the custom field (for example, “Company colour”) in the search bar, the result doesn’t report any data.

I suspect that the user case you’re after is the second one, which our CRM does not currently support.

I have added your +1 to an open feature request for our development and product teams to consider. I’m afraid we don’t have an ETA for the feature to be developed.?

Hope that answers your question, though!

    Hi @erania-pinnera

Thanks for your reply. It would be great if I could add a custom field (called Company Number) where my users can enter a company number which also would be searchable after the entry has been saved by a user.

If that’s it not supported, I hope the dev team could add this feature in a future update.

    Hi @johnnybravo69,

Done! I added this bit to a different feature request that was already open. Thanks a lot for sharing these great ideas!

??, @johnnybravo69! but keep in mind, as mentioned earlier, that at the moment we cannot guarantee any ETA for them to be developed.

I’m going to mark this thread as solved. If you have any further questions or need more help, you’re welcome to open another thread here. Cheers!
