• My client has used dashes and apostrophes in some of their product titles, and when any plain text emails reference the product (such as stock notifications), the characters are replaced with their ISO 8859-1 code.
Right now it is limited to admin side emails since the customers receive rich html emails concerning orders etc.

Should I be instructing the client to use these html codes during product creation or is this a fault in the translations/escaping to plain text by WC or WP?
Just seems counterintuitive to teach ISO codes to an end-client when they are not coders and for the most part they operate within an simple, elegant wysiwyg environment.

    Any thoughts cheers
