    Hi there,

    When I first installed wp-encrypt on my multi network site I entered my IP address in the address field.

    I have a multinetwork install, using a domain mapping plugin from wpmudev. During development the Home and Siteurl values were set to the ip address. This is when I installed wp encrypt for the first time. It obviously didn’t work as I didn’t have a domain associated with the site.

    Now that I have sorted out my domains I can’t change this IP address to a URL. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin, using the danger-zone reset and deleting the letsencrypt dir from my server. Every time I try generating a certificate, I get this error:

    No HTTP challenge available for domain xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. Original response: {“type”:”urn:acme:error:malformed”,”detail”:”Issuance for IP addresses not supported”,”status”:400}

    Is there a table created in the database during the first install that stores this value?

    Thanks for any assistance.
    Mark

    Actually it turned out that one of the other networks in my multinetwork still had an IP address as siteurl. Once that was resolved, the issuance completed with no errors.
