  • You’ll want a Redirection plugin for that or else add a rewrite rule to your htaccess for each URL you want to redirect.

    WordPress needs to be told what you want done when a link doesn’t work else it will provide a 404!

    I have more than 9k posts, mirgate from my another website (which is using permalinks structure as /%postname%/), so I can not set the rewrite rule for each URL, I’m finding the solution for all.
