    Hello,

I normally use Duplicator for migrating my web data to localhost and this is the first time that I’m having a hard time solving an issue.

Let’s see, I can’t access the web contents hosted in localhost. I think I made a mistake in installer.php when I ticked the option for keeping original .htaccess, web.config and user.ini files. Since then, when I access to localhost through Firefox and Safari, the localhost route redirects to my web URL, so I can’t access localhost. I tried downloading a new package (installer and archive) but the issue persists. Can you help me, please?

    Thank you very much!

I tried taking the installer.php and zip to an iMac (which is already connected to the same network my laptop is on) and the files seem to be corrupted. When I executed the installer file some code displayed on the browser and the zip file doesn’t match the original size.

I created a new package on that computer and I could access localhost smoothly through the browser. So the problem seems to be in the laptop settings.

I copied the ‘good’ files on the laptop with the issue and once again, I still can’t access localhost. I will try accessing localhost on the laptop with another user.Still digging…

I tried accessing on the laptop as invited user and disable htaccess file on the plugin settings and the issue still persists.

For what it is worth, I ran the installer on the computer (I have made no progress running the installer on my laptop) and I couldn’t complete the installation. I obtained this message in step 1 of deployment:
    Server Code: 0
    Status: error
    Response: undefined

    Hey @tinymonkey,

Take a look at the installer-log.txt to see if there are any clues in the file if none then you might check the PHP error logs to see if there is anything at that location…

    Hope that helps~

    Hello @corylamleorg ,

The issue seems to have been resolved. Today I have access to localhost on my laptop and I installed the package smoothly. I still don’t know what happened the other day. Anyway, thanks for your help!

Sounds Good! Thx for the update.
