When I add an Album into my gallery page,(with 2 galleries linked to it for now, because I’m testing the plugin) I receive this error text on my webpage: no images were found.

    URL: https://merci-la-vie.net/coups-de-coeur/

Code generated when I add album:
    [ngg_images source=”albums” container_ids=”1″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_extended_album” gallery_display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_imagebrowser” galleries_per_page=”100″ enable_breadcrumbs=”1″ template=”/home/beonweb/public_html/merci-la-vie.net/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view/album-extend.php” enable_descriptions=”1″ override_thumbnail_settings=”0″ thumbnail_width=”240″ thumbnail_height=”160″ thumbnail_crop=”1″ order_by=”galdesc” order_direction=”ASC” returns=”included” maximum_entity_count=”500″]

    Hi @christinelecavalier!

I’d be happy to help ??

I can see the album on the page you linked to. It looks like you may have those galleries linked to the album page, which can cause odd behavior like this. Let’s make a couple changes which may help…

    1) Navigate to Gallery > Manage Galleries > [select each of those galleries to edit]… click on ‘gallery settings’ and make sure the ‘Link to Page’ is set to none. If you have another page you’ve published with the gallery added to it, than select that page and save. If you point the gallery [in this setting] to the album page, that won’t work… it’ll cause issues like this where the page reloads with no gallery displaying. ?? You’ll need to set it to none, or another page that’s not the page w/ the album ?? Let me know if you have further questions on this.

    2) I did notice that when you click on the thumbnail in the album, the thumbnail image loads up… that can be due to another lightbox plugin (or a lightbox feature of the theme) causing it, or triggering our plugin to open the thumbnail image… which it should not. Navigate to Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects and select to have the lightbox open NextGEN Gallery images and WordPress Media images only. What should happen when you click on the thumbnail for the gallery, in the album, is the thumbnail should trigger the gallery to display.

Keep me posted on your results ??

Hello and thank you for your reply.

Point #1: ok: all gallery are link with: page set none
Point #2: I did correct by switching to NextGEN Gallery images and WordPress Media images only.

    The new code generated is:
    [ngg_images source=”albums” container_ids=”1″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_compact_album” gallery_display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_imagebrowser” galleries_per_page=”25″ enable_breadcrumbs=”1″ template=”/home/beonweb/public_html/merci-la-vie.net/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view/album-compact.php” enable_descriptions=”1″ override_thumbnail_settings=”0″ thumbnail_width=”240″ thumbnail_height=”160″ thumbnail_crop=”0″ order_by=”sortorder” order_direction=”ASC” returns=”included” maximum_entity_count=”500″]

Now when I insert my album, including for now 2 galleries, the album show-up on my page with the description and the 2 thumbnail of the 2 galleries. Please refer to this image to see my screenshot: https://merci-la-vie.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/this-is-what-i-have-when-my-new-album-shop-up-on-my-page.png

My issue now is:: My 2 galleries linked with my album appear on my page. When I click to one of the gallery, Only the principal image shop up with the description. None of all the other images attached to this gallery are there.
Please refer to this image to see my screen shot: https://merci-la-vie.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/this-is-what-I-have-when-click-on-gallery-San-Juan.png

Could you please guide me to resolve that problem.

    Thank you.

Let’s dig a little deeper to make sure you have everything up to date. Reach out to your hosting provider and confirm they have the www.ads-software.com Requirements settings in place:

    MySQL v5.6 (or higher)
    PHP 7.2 (or higher)

    Memory limit: 250MB (or higher)
    Upload limit: 50MB (or higher)
    Post limit: 50MB (or higher)
    /wp-content directory has sufficient permissions (i.e. 755)

With those in place, everything should work smoothly for you. If the issue still shows up, let’s check to see if there is a plugin conflict happening. Temporarily deactivate all plugins, then reactivate NextGEN Gallery only. Does the issue still appear? If so, temporarily switch to a WordPress theme (this deactivation is only intended to quickly check to see if the issue goes away or is still present). If by deactivating the other plugins, the issue does go away, reactivate each of the other plugins one at a time to locate the culprit. Keep me posted on your results ??

Thank you Becky – good suggestions – but unfortunately not working.

1- I have these versions or limits or higher.
    MySQL v5.6 (or higher)
    PHP 7.2 (or higher)

    Memory limit: 250MB (or higher)
    Upload limit: 50MB (or higher)
    Post limit: 50MB (or higher)
    /wp-content directory has sufficient permissions (i.e. 755)

2- I deactivate all plugin and keep only gallery plugin – no- not working and no conflict.

3- NO way that I will switch to another template – I worked to hard to set=up and organize this one.

My question to you: is the plugin is compatible with Be-theme – version child – Far East.

What are other suggestions-solutions can you add to fix this bug.

    Thank you!

So, I finally gave up – seem to be a bit too complicated. I decide to switch with an another gallery plugin, who work perfectly for the template I have (Be theme). Thank you for your support.

@christinelecavalier what did you switch to? I have BeTheme too and am needing to choose a gallery plugin. Thanks!
