    Hello there,

I have a old WP site, with ngg version 2.2.12.

I tried to change the PHP version for the overall wordpress setup to 7.4 and got the error as

Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home/FOLDER/FOLDER/SITENAME/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/fs/package.module.fs.php on line 263

To suppress the error i have changed php version back to 5.4

    Question:
If i upgrade the Plugin version should this fix the issue ? Or anything else needs to be done ?
Should i be concerned about anything else as well ?

    Hi @snaushads,

First of all – you are using a critically outdated version of NextGen Gallery. We have launched numerous security patches, bug fixes and improvements since then so it is highly recommended for you to update to the latest version of the plugin. Updating should fix the specified warning as well.
