Issue after upgrading to php 8.2

    Hi.

    Easy Fancy Box 1.9.5 was working great on WP 6.3 with PHP 8.0.

    After I upgraded to PHP 8.2 it fails. I checked to make sure that all the same PHP modules that were available in 8.0 were installed and running in 8.2

    I wonder if anyone has any suggestions on which PHP modules/settings Easy Fancy Box requires. The doc doesn’t seem to refer to any of those requirements.

  • Hi, the plugin has been tested on PHP 8.2.8 and there is no specific module needed for the plugin to run, other than the normal ones needed for WordPress…

    Can you describe in what way the plugin fails? Is there an error occurring? Anything in the error log?

    Thanks for the reply. I appreciate your response.

    This was an conflict with the Jetpack Boost “optimize critical CSS” option.

    It’s binary. Turn this off, and EFB works fine. Turn it on and it fails.

    This plugin has recently changed ownership and we hadn’t seen this. Sounds like a plugin conflict. Give us a couple days to try to duplicate and troubleshoot. We’ll see if we can find a solution on our side, or if not, see if we can suggest something to the Jetpack team.
