“Issue an authorization on checkout” pref not saved

Is this expected behaviour? Is there a way to check to see if this option is enabled even though the checkbox remains unchecked?

No, the check outbox should work. I also found no previous report about this. :?)

Have you tried disabling your caching plugin or switching browsers?

Could you also attach a copy of your site’s System Status report? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support” (after you scroll down a bit)”. It randomly started to show as enabled 10 minutes or so after playing around with it. At that time it also started to show all the local payment options (ex bancontact, EPS, giropay etc).

From what I’ve checked, there are similar reports about other settings not being saved, but we weren’t able to reproduce the issue.

Additionally, merchants often come back to us stating the problem has fixed it itself, much like in your case. It might be just the server cache getting in the way.

If it happens again, you can try disabling your server caching plugin, switch browsers or check the Self-Service Guide.

Thanks for the quick help – for now it seems to be going well. I don’t want to enable test mode to check it out, but I’m ok if some payments are fully captured to start.
