    Hello,

i have been using WooCommerce Conversion Tracking by woopt to many eshops but on a couple of them i get the following error:

“`Fix your audience source that’s not sending a required parameter

Your campaigns can’t tailor dynamic ads based on user activity when your audience source doesn’t send the required parameter. Make sure the required parameter is being sent correctly.

Your audience source may not have the required parameter for your business type on all relevant pages or events. Check that you’re passing the required parameter for your business type anytime users interact with products or services you want to advertise. Note that Google Analytics refers to parameters for remarketing as Dynamic Attributes. Learn more

Issue: 97% of audience source activity missing id in the last day`”

Is is something wrong on my side or there is something else that i need to change on the conversion tracking settings?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi @margas6

In those cases where I’ve seen the same error it was a misconfiguration. There are two types.

    – The product IDs in GMC don’t match the output of the plugin. -> Make sure they match. If you use SKU in GMC make sure to use SKU in the plugin, and so on.

    – One of our customer at some point not only enabled the ‘retail’ vertical but also ‘custom’. The plugin doesn’t send data for custom and the warnings were only meant for ‘custom’ although the warning didn’t specify that exactly. Unfortunately ‘custom’ can’t be turned off, so the warning periodically pops up again.

If you are sure that everything is set up correctly you can ask the Google support to also have a look.

Does this help? Or do you want me to investigate your cases further?

Thank you for the prompt reply.

How can i see the ID’s on plugin and GMC match?

    Thank you.

    1. You need to have a look into GMC and find out which ID type is being loaded for each product. Is it the post ID, or SKU or something else (like “woocommerce_gpf_” + post ID) ?

    2. Then have a look into the woopt plugin > dynamic remarketing settings. What’s the setting for the product identifier.

Those two need to output the same product ID type.

A more advanced method is to use Google Tag Assistant: https://tagassistant.google.com/

Open a product page and add a product to the cart. Then have a look at the add_to_cart event: https://take.ms/XudIs

Let me know if that worked for you.

In the GMC the ID that it is loaded is the post ID, the same with the remarketing settings.

But while i try to find the id via Google Tag Assistant no add_ti_cart event can be found.

I think this is the problem.
    Any suggestions?

You have some third party code that is also inserting Google Ads pixels and is wrong: https://take.ms/GTndW

    Please remove that.

It also looks like that third party code is not properly scoped and probably is breaking the output of our code.

Again, please remove any other Google Ads (or any Google) implementation.

I detected Google Tag Manager for WordPress and PixelYourSite. For starters deactivate those and then test again.

    I just did.

    Can you check now?

    Thank you.

    There is still some problem.

Could you please temporarily deactivate Autoptimize.

I have not Autoptimize but i have disabled some other plugin for cache.

The output of the plugin code is still broker. There must be some other plugin that is doing this.

Could you send a list of all active plugins?

You can also send it to [email protected]

    Solved this over email conversation.
