Hi Dion Hulse the Plugin designer:

After adding images via the plugin and it was successful, the listing of added image in Media/Add from Server plugin appears that one same image became 8 images, and it appeared the same when I saw it via FTP, below is a list of the example that I saw:

    D1224-01-115×300.jpg
    D1224-01-150×150.jpg
    D1224-01-230×600.jpg
    D1224-01-272×182.jpg
    D1224-01-350×913.jpg
    D1224-01-393×1024.jpg
    D1224-01-550×400.jpg
    D1224-01.jpg

The issue is not listed in the plugin web page, so, why does this happen? And how can I stop this?

    Thanks for your works, BTW.

    Ben

    This is how WordPress works.

WordPress generates all the various thumbnail sizes which your theme and plugins have specified as being needed.

You can use some plugins which offload image generation (For example, Photon in Jetpack) however I have no idea if these plugins prevent the files being generated on disk.
