Issue Connecting Instagram

Have you removed the Facebook/Instagram connection after installing the new 6.3.6 version of the plugin?

I upgraded to 6.3.6 then deactivated the connection for IG. I click Activate then settings. Then on the next screen I click Connect My Instagram Account. On the popup I click Business > Connect. It wants me to connect via Facebook but i dont have access to the clients Facebook account so I go back and click Connect My Instagram Account > Business > Connect again. Then I get the IG Allow/Dont Allow screen. if I then go back to the WordPress area and the site nothing updated. But if I go to the IG account settings I can see that there is a connection listed.

Thanks for more details, I just checked on two of my website where I can replicate this issue. It’s connecting the plugin without a blank screen.

In your case, it seems to be a plugin/theme conflict.

If you can see the connection listed after reload then you should be good to go.

Alternately, please run a plugin/theme conflict test to rule out the culprit here.

Please do let me know if you are unable to access the rest of the settings pages after connection.

I will look at plugin conflicts.

What you see on instagram is actually not the connection itself but only the access token generated.

I have the same problem, and it was a working installation which previously had no plugin conflicts (working for over a year).
I get stuck with the white screen on easysocialfeed.com

Now, the page url of the blank page contains the access token for instagram…
I tried in the plugin a manual setup, by copying the code form the blank page url, and after pasting it to the manual setup field, the message states: please wait, authenticating, and then “authenticated!” which means, the auth token is OK.

BUT: the plugin doesn’t display the new instagram connection.
So what I can verify is that somehow the step of creating a new connection fails and it leaves that trace in the debug.log

In your case, it seems the issue is different (or the setup is different). I will need more information, especially the plugin version, WP Version, and list of installed plugins.

i did what @canelodigital suggested and I got the auth token but when I manually authenticated it still does not show the feature on the website.
