I can get the “typed text effect” to work, using Kadence Text (Adv) block, but whenever I try to edit the typed text, to adjust speed, etc, I have to start from the beginning: it doesn’t seem to be saving my previous speed settings and additional text strings.

I’ve tried a couple different browsers, issue persists. Also tried disabling all plugins except Kadence Blocks.

Is there a trick to editing this? Or recommended browser?

I’m using WP 6.6, Kadence Blocks 3.2.49, Kadence Theme 1.2.6 (free versions of both). I just made those updates, but issue happened before and after updating WP and Kadence Blocks.

    Hi there,

Glad you reached out, happy to help.

I am using the same version of WP, Kadence Blocks and Theme as you.

To edit the Typed Text settings, you simply need to click on the text, which will then show your existing settings.

Here is a screencast for your reference:

Can you confirm if the settings do not show up when you click on the text?

If it doesn’t, to troubleshoot this:
    – Clear your website and browser cache
    – I used Google Chrome and if you are using the same, try using an incognito Window or change your browser.

I hope this helps. Please let us know how we can help further.

    Cheers,
    Eze

Thanks for the reply @chieze; I just tried it again with Chrome, and it seems to be working fine; I’m able to edit the “typed text” settings without problem. Not sure what was going on before, but it’s working now.
