Issue gutemberb in wordpress 5.0 in classic editor block

  • hi,
    i see that often when i create a page with gutenberg the block editor after some update of the page give a message error so: “this block contains unexpected or invalid content”

    This is a very big problem because also if ia try to resolve the error some block disappear.
    This problem is only with the block editor.
    I tryed also disable all plug in but nothin change
    any idea?

  • I’m not sure about your specific issue, but there is a newer version of Gutenberg in WordPress 5.1, and one coming soon in 5.2. And if you want the latest fixes, you can use the Gutenberg plugin which changes weekly.

    ok, thanks for your information, i hope will resolve the problem because is very strange. With this issue the gutenberg editor not is stable and “break” the page. The strange is that also without plug in the problem there is the same.

    Hi, after a lot of test i discover the problem.
    Using anykind of gutenberg block plug in then using th block called: conteiner, sections and so on (particolar blocks that have to change colour back ground ora move posizion and so on), when insert Classic editor after save the page the next time that open the page always the block editor fault and have an issue.
    I tested with this block plug in : Ultimate addon block (Scection block)
    and plug in: Stackable (Conteiner block) same error

    Someone have any idea why this error?

    You should probably ask in the plugin’s support forum since they know their code best.
