Issue happening with TAX – Products set without tax

    Hello, I installed today TeraWallet on my site and I came across this issue:
    My woocommerce settings are:

    Prices entered with tax: “No, I will enter prices exclusive of tax”
    Standard tax rate is set at: 23%

    Question 1: When I add credit to a user, should I add credit with or without tax %?

    Issue 1:
    In general Terawallet seems to have an issue with this setting of products entered without tax, as this live example shows:

    Woocommerce settings are:
    Prices entered with tax: “No, I will enter prices exclusive of tax”
    Standard tax rate is set at: 23%

    Product A: 5.69 € + 23% = 7€ (in store it shows 7.00€)
    Admin gives to user 3€ credit.
    User purchase Product A + Pay By Wallet

    Subtotal
    7.00 € (with TAX)
    Via wallet
    -3.00 €
    Total
    4.00 €

    All fine, BUT if user has 6€ in credit, this diplays :
    Subtotal
    7.00 € (with TAX)
    Via wallet
    -5.69 €
    Total
    1.31 €

    So it forces user to pay for tax, and does not let him use the entire credit. Why is terawallet not covering for the tax?

    Issue 2:
    When user has exactly the same amount or more money in Wallet than the cost of the purchase/order,
    “Pay by wallet” simply disappears and does not let user use wallet (forces user to pay for entire order)

    Hi @impressao3d

    Thanks for reporting this issue. We are already aware of this. But the thing is here we are using WooCommerce negative fee for partial payment and WooCommerce is not allowing us to apply negative fee on cart total instead it is applied on cart subtotal that’s why it is not applied on tax.

    We are trying to resolve this issue and will update you.

    We really like terawallet and wish to use it, but we are a bit on an emergency and really need a wallet system

    I have tried switching my store to:
    – Yes, I will enter prices inclusive of tax

    so that all product prices already include tax, however Terawallet still has the same issue ??

    User has 6€ in credit, this diplays :
    Subtotal
    7.00 € (with TAX)
    Via wallet
    -5.69 €
    Total
    1.31 €

    “6.00 € will be debited from your wallet and 1.00 € will be paid through other payment method”
    (except that is not what happens :()

    So it doesn’t matter if products are entered in store with tax or not, as long as tax settings are set up, Terawallet doesn’t apply the discount to them if the user doesn’t have enough to pay for the whole thing ??

    @vikram11 I have not found a solution to this.
    At the time I tried a couple other plugins, while they would not have this issue eventually they had other bugs or problems with calculations on the backend, or handled the payment page really badly.

    @annaqq Please if you find a working alternative let me know.

    I believe Terawallet has one of the best wallet plugins, but this issue is just a big dealbreaker and I can’t understand how it has so many users which didn’t come across it.
    We wanted to use the AffiliateWP integration because it really interests us but this issue means we can’t officially use this in our store.
    It would be nice to have an official statement regarding this problem
