Issue importing contents from blogger to wordpress

I wanted to import my blogger contents to my new wordpress account.. But I’m getting an error “The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions”

I got a notification to update my php which I did to the latest version.. The notification to update disappeared but I still get the same result trying to import with the new php ‘The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.’
