Issue in connect

Hello,

I am using BLDR theme in a wordpress blog. I have installed jetpack latest version in it. But when i am trying to connect jetpack. It show the following error:
Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.
Operation timed out after 15000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

can anyone tell me how to resolve this.
