Issue Logging in on LAN wordpress

  • Using MAMP Pro to host over a LAN.

    Here’s what I’m getting when I login with multiple users:

    It just looks like all the images have questions marks next to it and show up at the bottom of the page. Looks like the formatting is weird.

    Anyone know what this is happening?

    Try adding define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false ); to the bottom of your wp-config.php file (just before the require_once line).

    This looks like there are CSS files missing or maybe even not syncing with your database. The directory may not be defined correctly. The question marks usually happens when there is a moved directory or there might be broken URL placements.

    Did you run into any problems during install?

    Holy cow. Looks like it was a firefox thing.
    Tried it with Google Chrome and Safari — both showed images.
    Really Weird!

    That is very weird. Just out of curiosity, which version of Firefox are you running?

    Ugh. That wasn’t the issue. It’s an intermittent problem.
    Just went to a PC connected to the LAN and it none of the logos show in any browser.
    This is so weird. Like every 5th time I login – it works with all the images intact.

    Anyone else have any thoughts?
