There seems to be an issue on iOS Safari, when you’ve scrolled down a substantial portion of a page, and activate the menu; it shifts the togglebar to the top of the wrapper (?), and the shiftnav menu upward to a certain value (relative to the position you’re at on the page?), as well, once the menu is completely opened. It’s visible and repeatable on the homepage for the plugin—but can only occur when using an iPhone/iPad with iOS’ Safari browser. I’m not sure about any other iOS web browsers, or even Android based-browsers, for that matter, and it’s also not repeatable on standard Mac OS Safari, or Chrome/Chromium webkit platforms. This seems like a huge issue, considering that the whole point of this plugin is predominately for mobile platform navigation.

I’ve tried css fixes with emphasis on appending “!important” to various styles on those elements (e.g, position: fixed; top: 0; overflow-y: visible;) while attempting to add others (e.g., margin-top: 0; -webkit-display: flex; -webkit-flex: 1; height: 100vh;), but cannot find any CSS-powered solution to offset this issue.

Even more peculiar is that additional instances of menus work perfectly fine, like on the tour portion of the site, within the “Unlimited ShiftNavs” section, where you can toggle any of the other shiftnav menus. Maybe it’s because those are loading from RTL instead of LTR?

    Hi Jack,

I’ve replied in detail to your support ticket, but the short answer here is that this seems to be a CSS transform-related mobile Safari bug that occurs with certain themes (for example, switch to Twenty Fifteen and it works fine). One solution for at least some themes like this is to disable the “Shift Body” setting in the Control Panel.

If you have any further questions, we can continue the conversation via the ticket you submitted.

    Best,

    Chris
