Issue Since Latest WordPress Updgrade

  • Author image and bio at end of article defaults to the person who created the page instead of the author selected. To fix the issue, you have to remove the author and re-add the author in the posting “Quick Edit” feature in the posts list. This seems to have started with the recent wordpress upgrade.

    Hi @matychak

    This is the support forum for our Authors List plugin. Looking at your site it seems that your issue is unrelated to our plugin, the image and bio you are referring to are added by the theme.

    I have a similar experience to @matychak and totally accept the problem could be / is definitely caused by a separate plugin that is not Author List.

    However I have found that Author List was not generating the correct authors (even though not the plugin’s fault) and that by removing an author and re-adding it, then the generated Author List is made correct for that author.
