IE7 and IE8 or not html5 compliant browsers. If your theme uses any of the new html5 tags neither of these browsers are going to be able to deal with it. The only work around I have seen for this problem involves removing the tags with a javascript and then reinserting them back into the page dynamically. For some reason IE8 and IE7 will allow you to style elements that were inserted dynamically using javascript, but will not style the same elements in your html code.

So there is nothing that can be done?

Im dealing with the same problem. Any idea how to resolve this issue?

All other browsers are working OK.
