Issue when saving Board changes

Hi there, I paid for the pro version and could really use some help as I found an obnoxious bug.

Anytime I click the “save all settings” button in the “board” section of settings for the plugin, the plugin will automatically create multiple unwanted boards at a time all with the title of “Yes”. There are now probably hundreds of these created and I have no idea why. Please help me remedy this asap as this will surely slow down my site tremendously and cause issues. Even loading up the board page now takes quite some time as there are so many bug created boards in there. There are only 2 that should have been created.

This has been fixed now in version 4.10 of the plugin. Thanks for reporting the issue.

I just updated and the extra boards that were created are still there. Will I need to go in and manually delete these 1 by 1?

Sorry, yes, I forgot to explain this. So first, do the update, second refresh the page, third remove these excess boards one by one, four, save the settings, and it should be ok.

There are way too many to delete manually. I’ve been going through for the last 20 minutes and there are still so many left.

Is it possible to delete all of the unwanted ones via phpmyadmin?

Wow, I didn’t expect there to be so many! Ok I have sorted this issue out on your site now. Sorry that your first experience with IdeaPush was pretty sucky, hopefully things will be ok from here ??

I seem to have a new problem with the plugin now after updating. I went ahead and created a new board, but this time after saving and adding the shortcode to a page, I am shown “The board number does not exist. Please create a board by going to: IdeaPush > Settings > Boards.”

The update that you issued seems to now not allow the creation of new boards? Anytime I add the shortcode to another page, I see an error message: “The board number does not exist. Please create a board by going to: IdeaPush > Settings > Boards.”

Sorry about this, this is actually a new issue, the other issue was solved. The problem is that the fix I came up with before created a new issue. I have now fixed this issue and released an update and as a courtesy I have put this update on your site.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
