Issue when updating plugin from 5.6.2 to 6.0

  • Hi,

    So when I try to update the plugin from 5.6.2 to 6.0, I get the following error, causing the update to fail:

    An error occurred while updating Center Booking WordPress Plugin – Free Version: Could not copy file. salon-booking-system/log.txt

    I did check permissions on the /wp-content/plugins/salon-booking-system directory, and it’s set to 755. I also checked and there is no log.txt in the directory now. I tried creating the file to see if maybe it would generate, but it did not function.

    I also updated other plugins before and after this one, and they worked fine.

    I am using CloudLinux and LiteSpeed. I have cleared the cache, if that matters.

    Can you advise what to do? This is a complex setup with over 300 WordPress Multisite sites, and your plugin has worked amazingly for us thus far. You guys do a great job with this plugin!

  • I am encountering the same error with .salon-booking-system/log.txt, in multiple installs – so it would seem it is not due to any particular local config, but to something in last update files.

    Would you pls check?
