    Hi,

I have setup the auto importer frequency to 1hr. When there is not any new post to import, I can see the ‘Latest Import’ timestamp changing every hour. It means cron function is running every hour. But when there is an actual new post to import in the feed, plugin stops running the cron and ‘Latest Import’ stays the same if I dont go and click ‘Save and Import’.

This is the piece of the log file

    2017-03-02 20:54:58 Imported 0 new posts.
    2017-03-02 21:54:01 Imported 0 new posts.
    2017-03-02 22:54:14 Imported 0 new posts.
    2017-03-02 23:54:07 Imported 0 new posts.
    2017-03-03 00:54:43 Imported 0 new posts.
    2017-03-03 01:54:11 Imported 0 new posts.
    2017-03-03 02:54:20 Imported 0 new posts.
    2017-03-03 03:54:21 Imported 0 new posts.
    2017-03-03 04:54:25 Imported 0 new posts.
    2017-03-03 05:54:21 Imported 0 new posts.
    2017-03-03 06:54:01 Imported 0 new posts.
    2017-03-03 07:54:28 Imported 0 new posts.
    2017-03-03 08:54:49 Imported 0 new posts.
    2017-03-03 09:54:00 Imported 0 new posts.

After 9:54, a new post has been added to the feed and the rest of the log is empty cause it stops running the cron.

Any help with this issue ?

    thanks

    Hi cansub,

    Thank you for reaching out.

If you can import by doing the import and save it means that the plugin is working.

As i see there may be a problem with you server’s cronjob.

The plugin is trying to process every hour however, the server’s cronjob does not work ,
    resulting to failed import.

I highly advice to check your server’ cronjob.

Let me know if you have questions or you can email me at [email protected].

    Best,

    Camille | Feedsapi
