Issue with Background Slider

I tried to add a portfolio plugin to add images of our builds. after i did this by background slider that is in the MK theme went away. Because of this, I tried to remove that plugin but it didnt seem to help. So i decided to add a new theme. even this new theme will not show background images so i went back to MK and still have the same issue. Help please.
