Issue with Basic Image Browser

    HI,

    I have several articles on my site that feature the Basic Image Browser, as it is the only mode that shows captions. It used to work perfectly well till about a year ago, and well I didn’t have time to devote to my site since a while so this issue is still troubling my site. I did go through old Q&A where most are about a year old as well. I site does meet requirements like PHP version 7.3 or greater, MySQL version 5.6 or greater. I also tried disabling all other plugins but the issue did not resolve. Please help!

    Let’s try first to re-insert one of those galleries and see if the problem it’s fixed. If the issue is fixed, you can try to clear the cache and test again with the other articles.

    If the problem persists, you might need to test for existing conflicts.

    1.- Temporarily deactivate all your plugins except NextGen Gallery.
    2.- Is the problem solved? Then, it was caused by one of your plugins. Please check one by one and find the one causing the problem.
    3.- If the problem is not solved with the deactivation of the plugins, try changing to a standard WordPress theme, it could be a conflict with your current theme.
