    Hello

I just installed bloom to have nice looking modal subscription screens with my mailpoet account.
I have a clear configuration of mailpoet, with a freshly created (and empty) “newsletter” list, and the few users I have are all unsubscribed. They are only part of the “wordpress users” default list.
I have created an optin screen in bloom for users to subscribe to the “newsletter” list. Problem is, if a user tries to subscribe with the same email as the user account, the subscription fails and I get a message saying that the subscriber already exists. If we use another mail address (not in the list, of course), it works.
So, it seems that, with bloom, the subscription fails if the mail address is already known by MailPoet, no matter the status of the subscription, and even if it’s not in the target list of the optin.

Has anybody already encountered this issue, and is there a way to fix it?

    Thanks in advance !
