Hello, I’m using your plugin on a site that is also using Min Max Quantity & Step Control for WooCommerce. I’ve set the plugin so that simple products can be bought in multiples of 6. Those same products are included in a composite product, which is supposed to let the user pick and choose one or more of each item. However the components are subject to the rules of min max quantity, and the user is forced to add multiples of 6 for each item. Is there a way to make the quantity rules not apply in the context of a composite product?

The only solution I can figure out is to make for each product a hidden copy that is excluded from the quantity rules, and use those copies as components instead of the original products, but this is not very viable and I wonder if there’s a better way to handle this.

    Thank you, best regards.

    Hi @origamifc ,

When there are products that have quantity rules, it’s impossible to exempt these rules even when they are added as subproducts inside smart bunde/composite/grouped. This is to make sure some special products are purchased properly. For example, with things come in pairs, customers can’t reduce the quantity to 1 even when they are added to other smart composite, right?

Unfortunately, I cannot provide any advice for your case as our plugin is supposed to always take on the quantity rules from individual products.

    Best regards.

Thank you for your reply. I see that makes sense for most cases, but unfortunately mine is not one of those. Anyway your plugin works well for all my other needs, so I guess it’s time to make those copies then.

    Best regards.
