Hello Team,

I have issue with conditional menus, I’ve set Login & register menu to be visible only for “Logged out users” but the menus are still visible even for the users that are logged in. I explored on this forums for similar issue and found this “https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/1595-caching-a” article to suggest to remove cache for reg & login pages, though i’ve done that but still i don’t see any changes and still facing same issue.

Sometimes after a while being logged in, strangely all the menus works as expected but again once the user is logged out and tried to login in the issue still persists as before.

EDIT: Once logged in if the user clicks on community, the menu works as logged in user. (making reg & login invisible, and Logout visible), then once clicked on Home page (via home button or clicking website logo) strangely Register and login menu starts appearing while the logout gets invisible. This issue only happen with home page, once switched back to community page menu works as expected.

Your Jetpack Cloudflare CDN is still active.
Try to deactivate the CDN by the instructions in this guide:

Hello @missveronicatv, i’ve deactivated the plugin but still i’m not sure why JetPack is still active.

Another doubt i’ve is, if in case i deactivate CDN my website wouldn’t be secure right? can you please share your thoughts on this?

Hello @missveronicatv, As suggested in the het-pack page, i’ve disabled the page accelerator.

Now your Cloudflare CDN time for keeping a cached page being reduced to 2 hours (7200 seconds) from earlier 8 hours, max-age must be zero to disable the caching.

Hai @missveronicatv , i also tried to set the Endurance Cache level to ‘Off (Level 0)’ but still i see the same issue .

i’m i missing anything?, any help on this?

Install the “Htaccess File Editor” plugin and look at your .htaccess file for the browser caching settings or ask your web hosting to turn off browser caching.

Hello @missveronicatv, i tried to check with my Hosting team and found there is a plugin to disable browser cache which is ‘Prevent Browser Caching’, after i activated this i was able to make see the menus to be working fine for few hours but later now i’m facing the same issue as before.

I really appreciate the support you’re providing me, but i’m not sure why other UM plugin team is not providing any response or help on this issue. it’s quite disappointing.

The “Prevent Browser Caching” plugin clears cache at execution.
The caching is defined in the .htaccess file and will continue later as before.

Try to ask your web hosting support if they can assist you to turn off caching by updating your .htaccess file which is described in this guide:

You can try to use the “Proxy Cache Purge” plugin, where you get a button in the top header toolbar to purge cache for all pages.

Hello @missveronicatv , Even with activating Proxy Cache Purge plugin. I’m facing the same issue. As you suggested i did try to purge cache for all the pages but still i don’t see any changes.
