• We have had issues with over usage on CPU, and I have now narrowed it down to the processes related with the execution of admin-ajax.php and I found out that external connections to IP addresses part of Amazon network are being made.

    Your plugin seems to be searching for products in the Amazon catalog, access real-time prices and availability information from Amazon’s servers, from where the frequent executions of admin-ajax.php.

    From within the plugin how do I decrease the frequency?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Nothing so far.

    I think the plugin is dead, and Amazon are hiding!!

    My CPU usage is back ok after unistall amazon plugin. Sorry, your plugin is nice but is not optimized.
    Thank you

    Yep same here, I removed the plugin and everything works fine now!!

    The plugin is terrible.

    Same Problem, I had to remove the plugin :/ !

    I’ve had the same issue as described above (CPU overusage). Have you all also had issues with your Amazon Links appearing as code on the live posts? That’s an additional issue I’m having and would like to have it resolved. If I built the links through Amazon Link Builder I get these errors now (well it just shows code in the live post) but if I did the link through the Amazon website text link I don’t have the issue.

    It’s not happening on all posts, which doesn’t make much sense, the feature I miss the most is being able to put a “carousel” at the end of my post. Any idea when this might be fixed?

    Hi

    @kathleenpope

    thanks for mentioning this, I was just about to tell the client that links will have to be generated in Amazon and pasted manually into the products page of her website.

    I will let you know how i get on with the HTML/coding showing on the pages.
