I am facing an issue since I installed banhammer on my wordpress+woocommerce website. It seems that it is affecting cronjob woocommerce_cancel_unpaid_orders. Because of which pending orders are not cancelling on their own, even after 2-3 days.

As soon as I deactivated Banhammer, all the pending payment orders got cancelled. This problem started 3 days back when I installed banhammer. Can it be fixed??

I’m not sure what might be happening, but can say that Banhammer by itself does not block anything until it’s explicitly blocked by the admin. That in mind, if you are getting any errors or other clues, I would be glad to investigate asap.

Dear @specialk thanks for the reply. Just to make sure I did the following.

I deactivated Banhammer and created a new order but didn’t make the payment. The order’s status changed from pending payment to Cancelled after 1 hour.

Then I activated banhammer and created a new order but this time its status got stuck at pending payment even after 2 hours. The status changed to cancelled only once I deactivated banhammer.

    Can you help?

    Hi @mayank29gupta,

Without any errors or clues to work from it is difficult to investigate. But if you can provide simple/clear steps to replicate the issue on *default* WP install, I would be able to recreate the problem and try to resolve, etc. Note the steps should include only default WordPress (default plugins, theme, and settings), or maybe /one/ additional plugin if necessary. For example, the steps might look something like this:

    1) Install WP (leave everything at default settings, etc.)
    2) Install Banhammer
    3) Do such and such
    4) Etc.

That way, I can follow along, see what’s happening, and try to help asap. It is super important that the steps remain as close to default WP setup as possible. Let me know if any questions about this.

So basically you want me to install a fresh WordPress on my domain and install Banhammer and then send admin login details to you to investigate? Am I correct?

    (@specialk)

No that is incorrect. We’re not allowed to log into any sites, so you will need to provide steps that we can follow to replicate the issue here locally.
