Issue with Default Send Welcome Email

    Hello, I can’t get the plugin to change the default setting of send welcome email to TRUE. I think it’s false because none of the subscribers I am generating are getting the welcome email from Beehiiv.

    Please advise.

    Thanks for your question. There isn’t anything that can be done in the plugin to send subscribers welcome emails, but this setting can be enabled in the Beehiiv admin page. Once a new subscriber is added from any channel, this plugin or otherwise, they can be sent a welcome email from those admin settings.

    1. Visit Settings and Publication
    2. Scroll down to Welcome New Readers
    3. Add a subject line and email text to activate 
    4. Click Save in the bottom right

    Hello,

    Welcome email is already enabled.

    You should enable the welcome_email ON in the API signal you are sending together with the data from the form. Please read the API documentation and you will understand what needs to be done in order for this to work.
