    Hi – having a problem with the linked page.. when clicking a thumb of the videos in channel they fail to play (apart from the top video, which plays fine) – leaving a blank space instead.. disabling Complianz resolves.

    Is there a setting I need to change, or have missed to make this work?

    Hi @webdash,

    If I remember correctly this plugin has its own GDPR consent module under settings. You can enable this and disable YouTube as an integration under Complianz.

    Hi Aert – thanks for the quick reply!

    I have done as you suggested and it is functioning now, thanks.

    Are there any plans to properly integrate this plugin with Complianz – having multiple cookie consents is clunky and kinda invalidates the ‘proof of consent’ aspect of Complianz.

    Hi @webdash,

    We are pushing a general consent layer https://wpconsentapi.org

    This should be a layer between privacy plugins and other plugins to communicate consent choices. This is standardized so we don’t need integrations that might break if the other plugin releases an update.

    I just ran into the same problem – for me checking th “defer javascript” option in the “Performance” tab of Embed pro helped.

    thanks for the reply @s-hinse – checking defer javascript made the single videos I had on site behave properly with Complianz, but unfortunately the issue with the channel embed persisted (the thumnails wont play) – do you also use a channel embed, and is it working now?

    hi Dave,
    yes, I am using a channel embed and it is working. But the channel embed did not work when I clicked the “allow cookies” button on the main video (on top). I had to refresh the page to make the other videos work. I added this little snippet I found here: https://github.com/Really-Simple-Plugins/complianz-integrations/blob/master/reload-after-consent.php which refreshes the page on clicking the button on the main video.

    Thank you very much Sven.

    On it’s own this didn’t work for me, however in case anyone else has the same issue –

    I am also running Litespeed Cache with JS optimisation – I needed to exclude from JS optimisation:
    /wp-content/plugins/complianz-gdpr/assets/js/complianz.min.js

    Using this combo -All working as it should ??
