We installed the free version of the WP User Frontend plugin on a client’s website, which is only accessible to private users. They currently use Events Calendar to power their calendar and would like to allow their users to submit events directly to the Events Calendar (as well as other types of post submissions).

Using the WP User Frontend plugin, we set up the form that can create an event in the Events Calendar, but every time we create a test event submission, we’re redirected to a “404 Page Not Found” page instead of the newly created event listing.

The test event is saved in the WP Admin > Events; however, when logged in as an Administrator, we’re not able to change the date/time of the test event. It also isn’t visible on the main Calendar page, either.

What could be causing this issue with the event form? Is it because the free version of the plugin doesn’t allow you to add the Date/Time fields for an event? Or are these issues due to something else?

    Hi @cassandramullet,

Facing compatibility issue with the Event calendar plugin.

WP User Frontend is presently incompatible with the most recent version of the Event Calendar Plugin. Our team is actively working on ensuring compatibility with the latest version. We expect this issue to be resolved in the next release.

    Your understanding is appreciated.

    Regards,
