Issue with excluding JavaScript method and line breaks in mail-address

    Hi there, thank you for the awesome plugin.

    One on of my sites, I have to use the method with “excluding javascript” and run into the issue, that the reverse encrypted mail text doesn’t handle line breaks correctly.

    Basically, you can reproduce the issue by choosing a long email which is displayed in a small container:

    As the span element has the attribute direction: rtl and splits the mail address in small portions, the line break switches the first with the second line and displays wrong the mail address:

    -break-issue.com
test-mail-address@line

    Any idea how to solve the issue?

    Hey @wittich – Thanks for reaching out. Please try the following setting:

    Within the advanced settings of our plugin under “Protect…”, there is a setting called “mailto links without CSS direction”

    Try to activate this one and please give it another try.
