Issue with Export

    The newly improved Export function worked so well. I’ve exported 21 albums, but now when I want to continue, it doesn’t work. The dialouge looks like this. Partly translated to Swedish, but I’m sure you understand.

    Opening zip output file...ok,
Filling album-359.zip with data from album Tore Johnson
Processing album 359. Time left: 80 seconds................................. done. 33 photos processed
Deleting temp files

1 Album exported

?Bilderna kommer att exporteras till: wp-content/wppa-depot/Hans Wahlgren.

    The problem is that I no longer get any album zip file on my computer. Is it some settings I need to fix? I havwen’t changed anything, but it has been under development, so you might have added something that I need to react on.

    After

    1 Album exported

    the album table re-appears.
    The names of the albums that have been compressed to zip files are then changed into download buttons.

    I don’t get any Download button. The screen says Exporting… and nothing else happens. What am I doing wrong?

    Strange. Re-open the export page, you should see a blue button with
    Download 359: Tore Johnson somewhere in the album table.

    I’ve reopened the browser and redone everything several times.
    I have tried in Edge and Chrome, no difference.
    The Download butten does not show.

    Do you see zipfile album-359.zip on the Photo albums -> Import page (when it is set to Local and --- My depot ---)?

    I have redone this so much so we are not in sync.
    Guess this is what you mean, so the answer is Yes.

    So far, so good: the zipfile has been created.
    You can download it using an ftp program like Filezilla.

    To investigate what might gone wrong, i need some more info:

    – Are you the admin of the site?
    – Is it a multisite installation?
    – How many albums are there?
    – Is the display of the album table on the export page complete?

    My users in my group can’t manage ftp. No such skills.

    1. Yes, I’m admin, but the problem is for all users on my site.
    2. No, not a multisite.
    3. Approx 125
    4. I think so, it looks so. But I haven’t done a detailed check.

    One more thing, it used to work. I exported 21 albums some 10 days ago.

    Jacob The site was recently updated to PHP 8.0. Can that have something to do with it?

    – Is the display of the album table on the export page complete?
    More specifically: does the album 357 – that you exportted – appear in thje list? pls verify

    I run php 8.0.24 without any issues

    Yes, every album that I have tried to export appears on the list of albums. How shall I be able to select the album if it’s not there? 357 is on the list.

    I have got i working. I’m afraid it is a missunderstanding from my side. My memory from when I tried the Beta some 10 days ago was that the Export Button changed to a Download Button. I never understood that the Download was executed by klicking on the album name that I ticked at first when starting the Export. When I understand this it works. I’m so sorry for taking your time on this misunderstanding.
