Issue with filenames?

I have imported a blogger blog into my wordpress site. This was a largish blog with hundreds of post and many hundreds of pictures. I was excited to find your teleported software but unfortunately it only found some eighty of my pictures. Leaving the rest looking something like the following. Is the ‘+’ sign the problem? Do you know of any workaround for this?
