• Hello dear WordPress community,

I looked for a similar topic, but was unable to find one, so I thought that a new topic would be all right.

I am quite new at using WordPress and I’ve encountered a problem that I’ve tried to solve for a year but for which I didn’t find a solution yet. I tried deinstalling all plugins, but it did not help.

I’m building a website (which should eventually be a photo gallery) using the FSE and the twenty-twenty-four theme. I must add that I do not have the necessary knowledge to code using CSS or other programming languages.

The problem is the footer won’t stick to the bottom of the screen height when there is few content on the page, just like in the screenshot.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

Thanks for the idea. I tried it, but other issues seem to appear:

    1. With a 80vh, it is necessary to scroll down in order to see the footer, just like in the two following screenshots. My perception is that the viewport height is much higher than the screen height (two times as high)

      2) In pages with more text, the footer ends up overlapping with the page content. My expectation is that with a page featuring a bigger content, the footer should appear after the page content, at the bottom of the page.

I thought that maybe seeing what the CSS and blocks hierarchy looks like might help answering my question.

      Kind regards,
      Thomas Cotton
